When you are looking for training in order to obtain an MCC Certificate, SFA offers you two options: the basic MCC course on B737 or A320 or our Airline Career Preparation Program (ACPP) on B737.

Besides the standard 20-hour FFS MCC-course, we decided to take student pilots up a level higher and we created an extended MCC-program, called ACPP, the Airline Career Preparation Program.

This course, which is performed on an A320 or B737 Full Flight Simulator, consists of 28 hours of FFS training and aims to bridge the gap between ab-initio training and a future type rating training on one of these aircraft. Besides instructing non-technical skills, we also focus on instructing basic jet flying techniques.

Please find the program details here below:

Multi Crew Co-operation Course - MCC

More than just MCC

The SFA MCC course takes the trainee well beyond the typical MCC Course as defined by JAR-FCL regulations.

We provide you with 35 hours of theoretical knowledge training (min. JAR: 25 hours); you have unlimited access to train on our Cockpit Procedure Trainer (CPT) and we perform 20 hours of practical training on a real Full Flight Simulator (B737 or A320).

We introduce you to basic jet flying in order to give you a lead when you perform the simulator session of an airline recruitment procedure which is one of the next steps in your career!

Our simulator is equipped with a CRM debriefing camera, the ideal tool to analyze and debrief your performance in a multi-crew environment. The use of such a device is strongly recommended for this type of training. You will see yourself communicate, perform SOPs, take decisions, etc.

All our instructors have thousands of hours experience training professional airline crews. They are familiar with the latest evolution in CRM.

Airline career preparation program - ACPP

MCC, basic jet flying and airline career preparation all-in-one!

When we developed our Airline Career Training Program (ACPP) we had three objectives in mind:

  • Comply with the requirements for a JAR-FCL MCC
  • Instruct and train basic jet flying techniques
  • Prepare the trainee for the next step in his career: the simulator evaluation session of the selection procedures for a job as First Officer at an airline

Thus the focus of this training is not only on the non-technical aspects (CRM/MCC aspects) but also on the flying skills.

This course consists of:

  • 70 hours of theoretical knowledge training (classroom briefings, FMS (Flight Management System) training, CPT (Cockpit Procedure Training) and FBS (Fixed Base Simulator)) training.
  • 24 hours of B737-300 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) training
  • A 3hr40min FFS evaluation session

CRM debriefing

Our B737 simulator is equipped with a digital CRM debriefing camera, the ideal tool to analyze and debrief your performance in a multi-crew environment. The use of such a device is strongly recommended for this type of training. You will see yourself communicate, perform SOPs, take decisions, etc
